In a lil' over Two Weeks... the smoke will clear. One thing will be certain, the "500" mark will be surpassed!
For those with a memory ...
On the 5th of October, in Hot Springs Arkansas that elusive 500 number will be KRUSHED! Upwards of 600 bikes are currently registered as of today. How many will line up that Saturday morning and Parade around the city to be counted? Over 500!
The bar has/will, be raised. For the first time that "500+" number will be real. Worth looking back on. Worth talking about. And for the first time, actually 'earned' by meeting the rules/regulations set forth by Guinness World Records.
For those with a memory ...
- 2016 was advertised with '500!' ... Failed. Only got 265 or so, of which some were 'illegal'. Not a whole lot of bikes.
- 2017 was advertised with '501!' ... Failed. Only got 274 or so, of which some were 'illegal'. Embarrassing.
- 2018 attempts failed
- 2019 attempts to date, failed
- 2019 attempt in Europe was shelved, but claimed to have upwards of 500 at their event. How many would have even lined up though?
